I am an Art Director and Senior Technical Artist with over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. My career is defined by a 15-year legacy at Pokie Magic, where I served as Art Director and was instrumental in founding and leading the company's Romanian studio.

Leadership & Vision: As an Art Director, I have led teams through major industry shifts—from PC development to high-end mobile and online casino platforms. I specialize in building artistic teams from the ground up, establishing production pipelines, and bridging the gap between creative vision and technical execution.

Technical Expertise: While my background is as a full-pipeline 3D Generalist, I currently focus on Real-time VFX and Technical Art in Unity (HDRP/URP). I specialize in:

VFX & Animation: Creating high-energy visual feedback, character state machines, and reward sequences.

Lighting & Look-Dev: Leveraging my background as a photographer to master light baking, cinematic atmosphere, and advanced material/skin shaders.

Tool Development: Building custom Unity Editor tools to automate marketing and production workflows.

Production Philosophy: I believe in efficiency through innovation. I am an expert at leveraging modern workflows—including AI-assisted asset generation, Mixamo integration, and Asset Store modification—to deliver AAA-quality visuals under tight deadlines without sacrificing performance.

    My time as Lead VFX & Technical Artist at Harmony Games has officially come to a close, marking the end of a truly defining chapter. Working remotely with such a dedicated, talented team to build mobile titles in Unity has been an absolute masterclass in collaboration and creative problem-solving.

    In this dual role, I had the joy of bridging the gap between art and code, ensuring our visual effects weren't just beautiful, but technically seamless for mobile players. While I am deeply saddened to see this journey end, I am endlessly grateful for the synergy we shared across every department. I’m walking away with a sharpened technical toolkit and a heart full of respect for my Harmony colleagues as I begin looking toward new horizons.

    I spent over 15 years as a cornerstone of Pokie Magic, ultimately serving as Art Director. I was instrumental in the company’s international expansion, spearheading the opening of the Romanian office and recruiting the artistic talent that defined our visual output. From our roots in PC gaming to our evolution into a mobile casino powerhouse, I oversaw the entire creative vision, team management, and technical pipeline.

    Beyond the screen, I managed the growth of our Romanian studio, finding and mentoring the artists who would become our core team. I established the creative standards and workflows that allowed us to transition seamlessly from PC development to a mobile-first online casino model.

    As Art Director, I touched every aspect of production—from 2D/3D asset creation and UI design to the final technical implementation of VFX. I ensured that our "Magic" brand identity remained high-quality and consistent across every title we launched globally.
